Copying, Performance, Permission, & Fees

I am deeply gratified that you would like to use my music!  Thank you.  I suggest the honor system with the following steps:

TO RECEIVE PERMISSION

v     E mail a request, or mail a request to either of the above addresses.

v     I will respond with a permission letter stating performing/copying permission for the work you are requesting.

v     Keep the permission letter for your records.

PAYMENT OF USE / ROYALTY / PERFORMANCE FEE

v     If a choral work is requested for use in worship or concert, a FLAT one-time fee of $50.00 is requested for rights to copy and perform the work.  If that is too expensive, feel free to send whatever is affordable for you or for your parish.  You may then perform it as often as you wish with no further fee necessary to be paid.

v     Other works and situations, please contact me and we will agree on a reasonable fee.

v     This check should be made out to Dennis Northway.

v     Kindly note on the check the piece for which you are paying.

NOTICE OF PERFORMANCE

v     When a work of mine is performed, kindly e mail or mail me either notification of it, or, please send a copy of the service or concert leaflet for my files.  Know that I will be extremely grateful!
